QUALIFICATIONS:
"Graduate from an accredited Program by commission on accreditation
of allied health education program.
" Certification as NREMT - Paramedic
" Good organizational and planning skills
" Assess, monitors and provides care to acute care patients and
patients in the ER Department
" Responds and provides care in code/trauma situations.
" Demonstrates the ability to provide verbal and written communication
to patients and health care team.
" Assumes responsibility for safety and maintenance of ambulance
service equipment and vehicles.
" Demonstrates knowledge/skills in providing emergency medical
services to the community
HOURS:
40 hours weekly. Flexible schedule with call time

" Prepare and submits recommendations for the annual department

" Implement and monitor Infection Control activities with minimal
direction.
" Perform surveillance activities, education presentations and
inservices, data collection, aggregation and computer data base entry
" Prepare data reports for infection control initiatives utilizing
current concepts in infection control, epidemiology, statistics and
improvement methodologies.
" Summarize data, prepares reports and presents to various committees
as appropriate.
" Enhance departmental physician and staff collaboration in the
area of Infection Control through the development of monitoring indicators,
education, and implementation of Infection Control practices and procedures
and evaluation.
" Implement and monitor infection control related initiatives
including Surgical Infection Prevention, and Surgical Care Improvement
Project.
" Attend meetings as required and participate on committees as
directed.

that are independent and require little assistance with ADL's. This
weekend position will allow the opportunity to supplement income and
