FOUNDATION DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR

Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree Preferred
- Three to Five years of fund development experience
- Three years experience in management of development programs
- Two years in planned giving, or equivalent experience
- Must be familiar with development program data management systems
- Must be skilled at working with volunteer groups and community leaders

Responsibilities:
- Contributes to the development and implementation of business goals and strategy plans, as they relate to the Foundation development programs.
- Analyzes available financial data and reports to CHI Regional Foundation Vice President assuring compliance with approved performance measurements.
- In collaboration with CHI Regional Foundation Vice President, develops the annual operating budget of the Foundation.
- In collaboration with the CHI Regional Foundation Vice President and the local MBO President and CEO, establishes performance and incentive goals.
- Solves problems and makes decisions on a daily basis relative to the operational business matters of the development program.
- Participates actively in community associations promoting a positive image of the local CHI owned facility and participates as a team player in organizational marketing and strategic planning programs.
- Responsible for the applicable training and education programs of assigned development staff. Responsible for the systematic monitoring and evaluation of program effectiveness.
- Implements, maintains, interprets and contributes to the development of policies regarding programs and projects relative to assignment departments; participates in developing and planning of system-wide programs, policies and projects.
- Keeps abreast of operational trends in the development field, health care industries and trends in assigned specialty areas.

QUALIFICATIONS:
"Graduate from an accredited Program by commission on accreditation of allied health education program.
" Certification as NREMT - Paramedic
" Good organizational and planning skills
" Assess, monitors and provides care to acute care patients and patients in the ER Department
" Responds and provides care in code/trauma situations.
" Demonstrates the ability to provide verbal and written communication to patients and health care team.
" Assumes responsibility for safety and maintenance of ambulance service equipment and vehicles.
" Demonstrates knowledge/skills in providing emergency medical services to the community

HOURS:
40 hours weekly. Flexible schedule with call time
