PHARMACIST

QUALIFICATIONS:
* Current North Dakota License
* Excellent Communication Skills
* Excellent organizational and planning skills
* Educational background and training that will assist the person to fulfill the duties of the job

DUTIES:
* Act as head of the department for all areas of pharmacy.
* Guarantee prescriptions to be appropriate for the patient, as well as accurately dispensed.
* Monitor inventory of pharmaceutical products in the health care facility.
* Maintain a medication profile for each patient admitted to acute care.
* Performs drug regimen review of resident medical records when required.
* Practices pharmacy according to guidelines and regulations devised and monitored by the State Board of Pharmacy.

HOURS:
* 40 hours per week, salaried

REGISTERED DIETICIAN

QUALIFICATIONS:
* Must be a graduate of an accredited college or university with a major in dietetics. Two to three years experience in a hospital setting is recommended.
* Must be licensed in the State of North Dakota. Must be registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the American dietetic Association.
* Innovative thinker willing to organize group teaching sessions with patients.
* Must demonstrate exemplary communication skills when working with patients of all ages and varying disease states.
* Flexibility and ability to perform the essential functions of this position and work with others in a teamwork environment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Confer with physicians, nurses, and other hospital staff to clarify and document orders.
* Recommends nutritional therapy as appropriate to the age, disease state of the patient.
* Exchange information consistent with the physician's orders and current nutritional principles.
* Provide instructions to inpatient and/or their families regarding diet therapy.

HOURS: Starting with a minimum of 24 hours per week, to work into a 40 hour position.
